For many Americans, cigar consumption has increased in order to deal with all the extra time many of us have. This has forced many cigar enthusiasts to take a hard look at their monthly cigar budget.
Also, with the holidays coming up and a precarious economic environment ahead, maintaining your cigar habit might get a little tricky.
Lastly, as we continue this new normal, do you really need to puff on a $20 cigar on a random Tuesday afternoon in your backyard? Probably not, a quality cigar with good tobacco should do the trick to help your pass time.
Whatever the reason, I’ve found 4 cigars that cost under $5 that any cigar enthusiast can appreciate. They’re made by cigar makers who wouldn’t put their name on a cigar if it didn’t meet their quality standards regardless of price per cigar.
A couple of these (Factory Smokes & Curly Head Deluxe) are Cuban Sandwiches, in other-words long filler mixed with short filler, but the tobacco used isn’t trash. Its great tobacco left over from their other more premium cigars.
As a result you get great flavor, good construction and quality tobacco for less than $5.00; that bargain is hard to beat. Now I do recommend getting the maduro’s as they aren’t quite as hearty as regular maduros; so to get the full flavor profile in a medium bodied delivery the maduro will be the way to go.
So here is my list of the top quality cigars under $5 that you can buy pretty much anywhere. In case you can’t find them in your local area, I have provided links to online retailers where you can buy these cigars.
This list isn’t in any particular order, but each of these cigars are worthy of an enjoyable smoke.
