Event Overview:
Gworls is a celebration of Houston ballroom culture. This is an all inclusive event for anyone who loves the culture or would like to experience it first hand for the first time. The Gworls Kiki Ball is a one time, go all out ball for Houston’s musicians, artists and creatives.
Guests will enjoy 3 sound stages and 2 art galleries.
Ballroom:
The main ballroom will open with ASYI who headlined CVNT during Houston’s Pride weekend. Amarji King will then take over from 12 till close to lead the ball along with Gulf Coast Mother, Guisi Mulan.
Several contestants will compete in 3 categories (Face, Runway and Performance) for a grand total of $1,000 in cash prizes.
Art Galleries:
The art gallery will be lead by Houston underground artists Ghandi and Goddess Bastet who will each live paint while joined by renowned Houston DJ’s Rich Aunty, Josh Allen and Liiam. The art gallery will be curated to inspire each guest musically, artistically and spiritually with melodic sounds and abstract art.
The indoor balcony on the second floor will be hosted by Inferno Glow who continues to display the perfect merger of creativity, skill and passion with each piece of art she manifests.
Patio:
The outdoor patio will be open for those seeking a breath of fresh air with W hosting cigars, cocktails and healing melodic beats for guest to mix and mingle while taking a break from the artistic stimulation indoors.
Location & Venue:
Gworls: Kiki Ball will take place at the palatial Paraiso Maravilla on 5714 Fairdale Ln Houston, TX 77057. The after party from 2 am to sunrise will take place at 5806 Star Lane. Tickets purchased for Gworls includes access to the after party.
